David reminds me of Prince. He was about the same age as David was when he first got started.

prince did get a very early start. on his earliest albums he did all the singing and played all the instruments. he is a musical genius. BUT other than david and prince both starting when they were very young, that is where the resemblance ends. unless you lived in minneapolis and were a regular at first avenue, he did not make himself available to his fans. as a stalker of prince many years ago,(i posted my tale somewhere on this site a while back)
i can tell you they are as different as night and day. for one thing(very small example, i could list many) prince doesn't really smile......or laugh outloud. he smirks and hides. david is an outgoing, friendly, open, real person who wants to show his appreciation to his fans. and he wants them to enjoy his previously released solo album FOR FREE. prince would NEVER EVER do that.
