Daughtry's been touring on and off for the last year. Sometimes small venues, sometimes as opening act. (He opened for Bon Jovi last year at the Prudential Center). Not the really big arenas yet, but that will come. I expect the same for Cookie -- depending on demand will eventually determine how big his venues will be. I think it's a good idea to start off as opening act. Better that than trying for too much and not filling it -- we had Kelly Clarkson tickets last summer at the Continental Airlines Arena (oops, I guess it's the IZOD center now) and she cancelled the concert due to lack of sales.
P.S. Just got tickets tonight for Daughtry at the Allentown Fairgrounds, again not a huge venue, but close enough to Dorney Park that we can make a day of it.
yes mame. I am sure that there will be some type of media tour (either in person or via phone) - Hope he comes to NY for the media tour; followed by a concert tour.
