I'm new here, but I wanted to share with you all this very cute story. So...I am a day camp counselor, and i have the group of the cutest third grade girls Illinois has to offer. During arts and crafts today I was being ADD, goofing off, and acting younger than my campers, and decided to start drawing on my hands. It begin with a simple note to remind myself to do something later today (i figure you can always lose a piece of paper but never your hand...) to writing "GIVE BACK" on my palm circa DC on Idol. Of course for 3rd graders, it's always monkey see monkey do, and .7 seconds later my whole group had written the uplifting message on THEIR hands. I had the camp digital camera handy, and took a picture of one of my campers for the brochure. HA. (side note: i wanted to test them after this, so i wrote "let's read" on my knuckles instead of "thug life"...only one of them copied me HA) thought that was cute.
alsoooooo...we had a late nighter at camp tonight, and all the parents came to pick up their kids. one of the moms was like "i know this is a long shot blahblahblah but i have two extra Idol tickets if anyone wants them"...since i hadn't purchased any (tsk tsk on my part) yet i jumped at those, and scored big time. on top of that, a guy i used to date back in high school's uncle is wayy up there on the Allstate ladder (the AI are playing at the Allstate Arena fyi), and could poss. hook it up phatty style to meet dc

we'll see!
