I'm not very good with proportions, but in a way I find the disproportions quite interesting. And I know my drawing of Archie doesn't look like Archie. For some reason I have a very hard time drawing baby faced people lol. Oh well.

LOL it's ok, I like them both. And believe me I've drawn david too and I know how hard it is. (David Cook that is) Especially when he smiles and the tips of his mouth curve up, ahh that gave me trouble. Keep practicing and you'll get the proportions perfectly someday. Just pay attention to small details and try to notice (and fix) differences between your drawing and the original.

thanks! And those are the only two David drawings I've done so far. I do have drawing/paintings of other people though....Anthony Fedorov, Celine Dion, Justin Timberlake, Chris Kirkpatrick, etc.
