If anyone is going to anyone of the concerts this week and you waited for the buses can you pleeeeeease post the time they got there so we can kind of get an idea thanks.

The time the buses get there depends on how far a drive from the previous city. I think they sleep on the bus unless it is a layover city, so i would guess from Phoenix 8 hours after the show was over, plus a few hours, See if the girls tht took the photos of the buses in san diego can telll you what time it was. THen you can figure out how long they stay after the concert.

Report from San Diego tonight... will post more in other post but wanted to get it out there.... because I missed them! (Maybe I should take the test in that stupid ad). The buses apparently arrived in San Diego about 1:00 pm. About half of the Idols (DC, Syesha, DA I heard) came out at different points between about 2 and 3:30. It was sort of structured, like they came out one at a time with security. By 4:00 it was all over - i.e. the 'meet and greets' started and went until 6 and then they had warmups. So if you want to meet them I suggest getting there by 1:00.

Thanks for the tips! I'm sure that's pretty much how it will go in most cities now ... Glendale was the only one where they will spend as much time as they did

Does anyone know if they went to a hotel post-show?

Someone told me or I read somewhere, can't remember, but I believe they leave on the bus and travel right away to the next city and are able to check into a hotel in the morning when they arrive for shower & stuff. They don't go to a hotel after the concert.

We arrived at 1:15 and DC, MJ, Jason and little David were all out there. We saw some of the girls but they did not really go down the line like the boys did!

Jason and Kristy came out later but that was it. So I guess my suggestion is to get there early!!!

mu suggestion is get there early 11-noon ish becuase thats when they ususally get there. me being an idiot got there too late but i still got a change to see them.

I got there before noon, and the buses with the idols arrived at 1 pm (give or take)

David motioned all of them to come to us. Which they did. Some took a little longer to come, but I think all eventually made it. I really don't know since I was just following David! haha.

After they went inside, I know we went to go grab something to eat and when we came back they told us that David and couple of the other idols came out again around 2:30 - 3 pm.

I saw them in Fresno and the buses arived at aproximatley 1:00 but I got there at 11:00.

I was planning on being there by 8 am Guess I am just a wee bit excited. (I am going to the charlotte concert) Is it organized or is it a mass rush with screaming people trying to get autographs?

I saw that there previous show is 3 days prior in florida and it only takes about 15ish hours to get from florida to houston so i'm hoping there gonna come a day early and get some R&R and i'll have a better chance to meet them I'm so scared it wont come true

The Fresno show was not organized. However, there were only about 30 people there and everyone remained fairly calm. There was no pushing or shoving. Everyone was pretty good. I think if it turns into craziness they will have the idols leave.

I'm in Houston too. I'm sure they're coming here on their day off, so I'm wondering the day of the show if they will show up by the buses or just come from their hotel which is probably the one right next to the arena. I'd like to meet them before the show as well.

well i have a problem.
im goin to the long island show on aug 5th and they are at the same venue on the 4th.

what do i do? should i get there 11ish like everyone else did?

outloud thinking strategy here: My friend and I had appys and cocktails tonight over on Alki (across the sound from Seattle) and we were trying to figure out if we should be at the Tacoma Dome area for the bus arrival by 11am, as other forum users have stated, or later, like 1pm ...

so, they play PDX (Portland OR) Friday 7/11 and then travel to Tacoma WA, which is appx a 4 hr drive at the most, being appx 140 miles or so from Portland.

With that short of distance, do other Pacific Northwest (PNW) folks think they'll be staying Fri night in PDX or in Tacoma? DC had mentioned that he wanted to "buy some golf clubs" in Oregon, due to the no sales tax thing they have there.

BTW, I just checked Ticketmaster, it appears they've released some primo seating for the Tacoma show this weekend just recently.

As far as we know here in PDX they will board the bus and head up to Tacoma after the show. We believe they will be arriving in Portland Thursday morning and rumor has it that they (the guys) are planning to go visit Nike Town. Sounds like David might be buying some clubs while he's there! The Idols are off on Thursday so who knows what they have planned but we will keep our eyes out for them!

BTW, I grew up in Seattle and Alki was our hang out in High School. We used to cruise the beach drive on Friday and Saturday nights. Great memories. Also usually went to Salty's for Prom dinner!
