Lol. I wish David would come back to Arizona.
I miss him now. I miss that fedora being on my head. I felt so empty when I gave it back. Hahah.
Anyone from San Diego/Phoenix or who have ever seen David in their town (or something along the lines) miss David too??

I miss him, and he's never been to my town!
I understand what you mean though. After the excitement and thrill of seeing and meeting him, it's hard to go back to real life!
Just hold onto those wonderful memories girl. Your pictures and stories are amazing!

Just savor it, Lindz. Don't fret.
It could be that your experiences were a little too personal, cuz they aren't likely to happen anymore and that in and of itself is a bummer. But they DID happen to you, so you have had more of David's attention than millions of his fans will ever have.
I'm sure that's no consolation for what you're feeling now, but the party's over and in time the bubble will be replaced by the photos, the autographs, and the reality that YOU yourself have had a one in a million thrill.
I feel for you now, though. Not much out there to compare to what the last week has been for you. Look forward and focus on something in the future. The only thing to quell your longing would be anticipation. So focus on something in the future, cuz looking back can truly be a sad thing.
We're with 'ya here, and are still appreciating what you did to include us in your ride of a lifetime. Thanks again!

Are you going to any other shows, Lindz? You and your mom and Collin should come to Chicago! Then you won't have to be sad anymore.

Yes Lindz, never give up hope that you may see him again someday. You didn't give up hope the first time around, so I am sure that there will be something again in the future for you. It was wonderful to have a first experience with him, so hold onto those memories for the rest of your life.

I expected this would be the case! How could you NOT miss him? It's bittersweet, really. You get one moment (ok, well in your case, 4

) and then he leaves...
But you have your memories and your photos, and the feeling that he will never forget you.
And hey, there's always the solo tour!!!
Cheer up!

Lindsey, believe it or not, I actually know how you feel. Forty years ago I was 18 and the Beach Boys were my current idols. My friend and I went to all their concerts, wrote them letters, etc. etc. If we had had the internet then, I would have spent all my free time on their message board!
One weekend they were playing in Atlantic City, NJ and my friend and I drove from Philadelphia to see them. Through a weird set of circumstances we managed to get backstage and meet their stage manager (who happened to be Mike Love's brother.) We ended up getting invited to a party in their private suite, and.........I'll always remember this as the ride of my life..........rode to the party with them in their car. There were hundreds of girls on the street throwing themselves on the car - and my friend and I were inside. This is a really thrilling memory even forty years later! Believe me, you will always treasure the memory of the last few days - even when your hair is grey!
As for the other thing - the bad comments you received - rest assured that all of the "cougars" on this board would gladly form a protective ring fifteen feet thick around you!
Thanks for all your posts - I love reading about your thoughts and your adventures!

I'm not a singer. I mean... really. Not. Lol. Singing it choir for one semester (being late ever single day to that class) and dancing around my house with All Time Low doesn't really count.
I just think it'd be fun to experience.

Lindz, you will meet him again! And I bet he will remember you, which is so awesome. You had the advantage of being the first fans on the tour!
It is soooo hard to get back to normal life. I have met celebrities in the past and kind of hung out with a couple, but just for a little while. I know what it's like to come back down after the first few days of bliss! After my friend and I hung out with Taylor Hicks and his band, I went on Shutterfly and kept myself busy making one of those photo books. I wrote out the whole story in the book, along with all the pics - it helped a little.
But yeah, it kind of sucks coming back to real life...it seems so boring...none of the excitement that they have right now...makes you wish you were on tour with them! But it does go away, I promise. Just takes a little bit.
But like I said, you have the solo tour to look forward to, and that will be even better, because it's ALL DAVID.
We're here with ya, girl.

I hope I meet him again. That would be just wonderful.
And I'm still so thrilled that I did meet him! I never wanna go back to reality!
