I MET DAVID IN FRESNO!!!!! Woo Hoo!!! It was so awesome. I actually met them all, and two members from here! I will post my pictures and more details later, I have to get ready for the show!!! Just wanted to share my excitement! Oh, I have to add that David was wearing a V-neck shirt and we could see parts of his tattoos!!! Yum!

Okay guys, I'm back! Sorry for the tease!!! I had to get ready for the concert, it was like 100 degrees here and I was outside for like 4 hours!!! Anyway to the good stuff....

So I got at the venue at 11:30 and the buses came at around 1:15. I met 2 other people from this board, so their pictures and stories will soon follow I'm sure! The first out were Brooke and KLC. Next was Carly. when I talked with Carly she had said that the guys were doing press and that she didn't think they would be out, so I was bummed. Just as she was leaving no other than David Cook and Michael Johns were coming out! Seriously, I turned into a 12 year old girl! He is such a nice guy. He talked with everyone and he was out for probably 10 or 15 minutes. I talked with him about Analog Heart how amazing it is and then he said that some of his songs from the album that never got released were going to be on his new album! So excited to hear that!!! But Better Never than Late won't be on it. Some stupid girl asked him about Kim and he gave a sarcastic reply which was well deserved. The girl was video taping her question and his answer, lame! Um, to answer the question about how he smells... he smells like a guy! He was wearing some type of cologne that smelled good!

I hope all of you have the same experience, there is nothing like meeting someone that has touched your life and for that person to be thankful that you are a fan and humble about it. Oh, and getting a hug isn't bad either!

haha i think those are carly's sunglasses - she was wearing them in earlier pics (i think pre-concert in san diego...or wherever the handstand photos are from) but yeah, the man is hot. lets just be honest here.

Thanks for the pix and the report. You know the fans are much better at asking relevant questions than the professional reporters are. Between you and Lindsay, we have gotten real first hand information.

I think it's so cool that he gets to release songs from his unreleased album. I bet he gets to rework them with more instrumentation. I am sure he feels amazingly vindicated that the powers that be are accepting his original songs. It's amazing to me that he handles all of this so well.
