ok so last night i saw the American Idols Live Tour in San Diego. It was truly amazing. i really loved it. many of the runner ups sounded very good, although there were some ok performances too.
i was sooooooooooooooooo excited to see david. our seats weren't that great, but i could still see david. i just wanted to run out of my seat and hug him.
i really enjoyed watching each of the idols sing in their element. they each brought something to the performance. they all looked like they enjoyed there time up on the stage. coming from a dancer i know what its like to be on a stage performing. its so much fun when you know people are clapping for you. i bet they LOVED knowing they had so many fans.
david, david david. what can i say about him. he is just a great rockstar and an amazing singer. you can tell that he loves singing and performing for people. every song was so wonderful. it was surprising how much his voice has grown since his time on idol. well..maybe not surprising...i knew he would sound amazing. it was really touching when he sang my hero. he dedicated it to his brother. it was so sweet.
when he first came out, it looked like his eyes were glassy like he had been crying or was about to cry. right before for what seemed like forever there was screaming. and yes i admit i was screaming. there was soo much. it was so loud, and im sure i would have gotten emotional if the screaming and clapping and yelling was directed to me. so im sure david got emotional, which makes him all the more sweeter =].
i didnt want the performance to end. gosh it was great. i mean i was in the same room as david cook! haha.anyways. i took pictures as best as i could. the lights were super bright and my camera wasnt the best. but i will post pictures and one video ( yea i recored some) once i upload them.
ohhh....but i have a funny story about the tour. i have needed to get a digital camera for a while and when i woke up yesterday i was like gosh i need a camera so i can take pictures of david. thats really only why i wanted a camera. so i went out and bought a camera just so i could capture a little of david.
just thought i would share what i thought. i know its a long post, but i had to say what i was thinking.
ahhh david was amazing......oh and david looked hottt as always. omg he looked nice. i liked the clothes he wore too! i bought his tshirt and picture. i cant stop looking at it.

Hi , I saw DC last night. He was Amazing. The energy level went so high when he came out. He Looked and sounded Great!!! My eyes watered up.I was so excited seeing him perform live.
The wait is kind of long with all the other Idols singing three songs each. It seem to take along time for me .Some of them were good ,some just ok.But so worth the wait for him. I cant wait for a DC concert ,and just see him!!!!

Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us! It is no wonder that people love Mr. D so much--he is truely an old soul in a handsome, talented ROCK GOD Bod and that beautiful voice--can not wait myself for his solo career! I personally will be at every one of his shows!
P.S. I noticed that he now has the AC initials on his new guitar, where in Glendale they were not on it yet.

Thanks for sharing. I have some nosebleed seats for the Washington DC show in August. I have a portable digital camera but feel like going out and buying a new camera with a SERIOUS ZOOM so I can get some good pics. Hearing about his performances...I just can't wait.

Kasey,
Thanks TOO MUCH for sharing your moments close to COOKIE !
I live in Brazil - so far from the tour !
I'm sure that all is happening to him:
the shows, the affection of the public, the audiences full of people, the opportunity to do what he likes most - SING FOR THE PEOPLE WHO LOVES HIM -
IS TRULLY OVERWELLMING for him....
He will get emotional a lot of times all way long...
He is a very sweet and emotional guy !
The dedication and affection he has for his big brother Adam, is so beautiful !
He's beautiful outside and inside - he has a huge, sweet heart !

It must be hard for him to sleep from all the excitement!
from the LA Times
Immediately after the Glendale, Ariz., show, the Idols boarded buses and attempted to sleep on the long ride across the desert to San Diego, site of their second concert. Reports seemed near unanimous that little sleeping got done on this first overnight trip as they each adjusted to their new homes for the next 52 cities and counting –- bunks on the boys' and girls' buses. David Cook said later in the day that he had been too pumped up with adrenaline from the excitement of the Glendale show to get much sleep. In any event, by the evening, if their enthusiasm remained undimmed, it was tinged offstage with a barely perceptible bleary quality.
Here is the entire article .....link ...
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/showtracke...tracker--1.htmlI also found this written by the guy that reviewed the first show
Richard Rushfield ......from the LA Times.
"+ On my second listening, David Cook’s set is truly great. All the nights that he brought the Idoldome to a standstill are relived. "whole article link.....
