and do you think we can organize David´s concert in Europe,that would be concert where all the Word Nerds could go!
I would be sooo happy,what do you think about this?Tell me...Maybe it is not possible,but if you believe everything is!!

Hello, I am bumping this because I think this is something we should really work on. We've started talking about it on the European WN thread on the WN home site (hi Ananda!)

I know we're really thinking ahead of time; he has only started the AI tour 2 weeks ago, the album is not even out yet so the idea of a European concert might sound crazy; but I don't think it is. He already has quite a lot of fans in Europe; when the album will be out, he will probably have a lot more and a lot of people will want to see him live.

We're only a small bunch on the WN home site but thought it would be great to gather our forces and ideas on how to get him to play in Europe with all of you here, Eurocookies! The more we are, the louder and stronger we are and the better we can be heard!

So, what do you think? Here is what another WN from our home thinks: " I've come to the conclusion that we have to convince his team first. Let them know that there are a lot of people in Europe interested in a David Cook concert.
Maybe we could have a poll on some site or have people sign somewhere saying 'yes, I'd love a David Cook concert in Europe, I'd definitely buy a ticket'. "

I think it's a pretty good idea to want to contact his team first but what do you think? Do you think it might be better to find a way of contacting David directly?

Let us know what your opinion is and if you think this is impossible, well remember what David sang:

Please, just take a few minutes to sign it.

We realise that this petition alone will not be enough to get him to come to Europe. He needs to be known there first and sell records obviously. So another great thing to do is ask your local stations to play his songs, even send them CDs of his music and his AI performances.

This is a great way of getting him known there and make sure his upcoming album sells a lot, which is what we need in order to convince him and his management team that he should come to Europe.

A few of us are going to try to set up a MySpace account in the next few days too. If some of you would like to help, please send me a PM.

Come on, we can do it! There is hope it can happen very soon, he will be starting his solo tour in the Philippines so he is going international already!!

This is a great idea, it would be amazing if we can get him to come to Europe.

Definitely it doesn't sound crazy. I was so happy when I heard he would be doing a concert in Manila!

I sent him a letter when Idol was on (I don't know if he never got it though) and said that I really believe he will do some kind of world tour some day and it will be the European people's chance on getting that luxury what Americans are getting now, the tour and meeting him etc. I still believe it will happen to us, our chance will see the day light some day.

I don't go to official WN site though, I've got hard time to even catch all important threads on here

I'm moving back to Germany next year, so I'm really hoping that David will do a concert in Europe sooner or later. I will spread the word and already started to turn my German friends into David-Cook-fans (easy to do ;-) ) so I can't wait to be able to get them to experience David live!
