Rickey's blog from early this morning......

As promised, here are some video clips of David Cook for the Chatter Girls who are — let’s face it — the Archeys’ naughty big sisters over at david-cook.org. I keep on getting these visions when we do our live video blog… after the Archeys gasp, sigh, happy dance, and write poems and haikus about how wonderful and beautiful the world is because of David Archuleta — the Chatter Girls come in with their wine glasses and whiskey, get on the stage then start ploding during David Cook’s set. The Archeys can only look at them stunned. LOL. I know I am.

CLASSIC! I thought that maybe "Chatter Girls" is yet another fan faction from another forum, but I could be wrong. There were plenty of us from d-c.org bombarding the live blog. We had fun!

It's crazy how much fun you can have staring at a computer screen. But I am having a blast at our nightly Rickey roust-abouts!

Rickey couldn't possibly be more of a dork, but he certainly is an endearing one. His graciousness is beyond compare for a blogger. There's no ego there and no inhibition either.
We D-C.org people should somehow send him some token of gratitude for our many nights of hysteria and for being able to "be on tour" with the show.
I for one, think I will be there every night except the one when I'll actually be at the concert and I'll try to provide something on that night.
This is "so,special..so very Special!" (Creep pun intended)

Sorry I hadda' do it! Someone make me get some sleep already! I'm fried from 3 nights of watching, and singing, and laughing, and typing, and trying to figure out what the heck he is doing at any given time!

Oh and by the by, It was so nice of him to play some ToHaveHeros last night. What a plug for Andy!

I laughed so hard at the flames and the stuffed animals. He is entertaining. I will give him that. lol I'm hoping he will be able to line someone up to cover tomorrow night's concert. When last night's concert ended, he said he didn't have anyone lined up and that he might have a problem getting anyone because of today being the 4th but he has asked for volunteers.

Rickey has learned about the power of the word nerds. shoot, if it weren't for cook supporters he would have had 10 people in his chat. If you looked at the names of those logged in a large portion of them were people associated with cook in their name!! So I think he knows who butter's his bread.

On the taco lasagna, that was a spoof on one of his first "archy reporters' who was feeding the audio from the first concert starting reading a lasagna recipe during the archie songs!!! Now, she is supposed to be a archie person to be a reporter, but clearly she must be one of those wine swirling; whisky guzzling chatter girls. it was horrible, because even those of us who support DC wanted to hear archie.

So, Rickey, was giving his own lasagna recipe---but in silence.

And I am sure you have already seen other threads today, but RIckey played Andy Skib's CD. And now Andy is at #2 (could be one by now) on CD baby buys of the week. THE POWER OF THE WORD NERDS: WORD HEROES!!!!!



oh my god, that was hysterical. i am gonna have my friend make me a graphic of Rickey and that black and white "Dick Tracy" cartoon he had. it would be a great t-shirt. i'll put them on cafepress or something and everyone can buy them and goes towards ACS?!!!

I got all kinds of love for Rickey right now too, and especially since he played our other boy, Andy!! New fans there folks!! I was so excited, I posted to him to let him know...and I think every Word Hero here did as well! He must have been stoked to see that in his Inbox!

I'm so disappointed my Internet feed cut out during "Hello" -- but I did enjoy the flames and the "Arrgggh!" Fun times.

Actually, it was not one of his Archie reporters... the audio from their phones was really poor and then their batteries died. But we got word of another live audio feed from the concert and had Rickey tap into that. It really pissed off the lady who set up that feed (we call her the web mistress from hell) because her server got overloaded and "her people" couldn't get in, so she rudely talked, snored, belched, and read a lasagna recipe over the last performance of Syesha and all of Archie's. She was a DC fan, so at least we got to hear him.


That was just awesome. I thanked Rickey today on his site for playing Andy's music.

I already replied to the other post, but I just have to say how awesome it has been to be there for three nights with you guys! I loved us trying to get him to play ANYTHING from Analog Heart and how the Archies decided to steal our idea and ask for an Archie song! Classic! Can't wait to see you guys tomorrow night!

About the Taco Lasagna recipe, when Rickey was holding the piece of paper for us I pushed the print-screen button so latter I would copy it and have a memorable photo of his dorkiness, but in all the excitement about hearing the Davids (I dont even remember if it was Archie or Cookie singing) I forgot to convert it into a picture, so I lost the image completely.... agggrrrrrrr

hehehe well on Saturday I will be more alert and try to print-copy as many pictures of his tvblog-transmission so we can later laugh about it, see ya!
