I'm going to see David on the 19th, (only two weeks away! Gah! ) and I have to have someone, most likely a car sevice, pick me up after the show, and I need to give them a pretty specific time of when to do so, and it would really help if someone could tell me just how long the concert is.
Mine starts at 7:00pm, so with it starting then, when can I expect it to be over? Like what time?
You have no idea how much this'll help me, because if I should go the car service route, I need to reserve it soon, and I have no clue what time to tell them to be there.
With past concerts, someone suggested I call and ask the venue, but when I did that last November when I saw Clay Aiken's Christmas concert, they gave me a time, and the concert ended up being over way before the time I was told, and my mom and I had to wait for like an hour, as everyone left, and the venue was closing, for our car to come.

i went to the fresno concert last night and it started at 7 and ended like around 10:30 but if it was like fresno and they do autographs afterwards..then u definitely wanna wait around for that!! but it does take a while to get the autographs! we left for home at about 12! so yea..

About how long did it take for the Idols to come out after the Fresno show? You left around midnight so that's an hour and a half, so if I'm able to wait, do you think an hour will be enough time, like I should tell the car sevice to pick me up around, 11:30, 11:45, maybe? And they did autographs by the buses right? Thanks again.

no actually they didnt do the autgraphs by the busses! there was actually a little VIP gated area by the front doors where the idols came out. it took ALL of the idols about half an hour to come out. but i think 11:30 would be enough time. and also ive heard that if you get there REALLY early then there is a slight chance you can meet the idols before the show. i think thats better becasue then u get personal attention from the idols! the thing that sucks is that theres no garauntee that they'll actually come out of the busses to meet you because they have to do interviews and stuff. so i guess its better after the show!

Wow! Really a little area by the front doors? That would be so great if they have that at the venue I'm going to, the Allstate arena in Rosemont IL, I haven't been there since I was 3, and have no clue if they have something like that here, because my mom's main concern about waiting to meet the Idols, was that by the time it took for us to walk around the building from the parking lot by the buses, to the front of the building for the car, that the driver would see nobody there, if we were still walking, and leave, leaving us with no ride home.

That's what I was thinking, that if I went early and spent all that time waiting, there would be no guarantee they'd come out and I'd have a better chance after the show, but there's about a 100% chance that my mom is going to stand in my way on this one, and insist we leave.
