Well, we have this place in the meantime. This isn't the first time that a fan website has done a MUCH better job than the official site.
I used to be a HUGE Tori Amos fan. As a musician a lot of her music is still very important to me but as she's gotten weirder (the "concepts" of the last two albums totally escape me) but back when I was obsessed with her she had an incredibly efficient website called The Dent that was way more inclusive than her actual site. She's gotten very web-savvy recently but I still am kind of skeptical of actual band websites, particularly if a major label is involved.
If the band gets to do it themselves, it's usually done a lot better.
I am kind of wary of MySpace anyway. I DON'T understand it. I think I'm too old but it all seems so random. Bear in mind that me and my friends used to find boyfriends by scouring the AOL member profiles and IMing random people
in our area. That actually seemed a lot easier. (But stupid? Oh, GOD, yes).
That's funny! Maybe DC will set up his own after the idol tour.

I think now that RCA has set up a page - you can go into that site; click on add a friend and it accepts it right away. I just did it; even though I am a friend on David's Official Page. Will see how long it takes to be added.
Can you tell me how/where you did that? When I went on DC's page and hit add, all I got was the message area but when I tried to send a message it said you have to be a friend!?
