I'm with you guys, I love it too when he gets everyone to make some noise--That helps get everyone at the show pumped up and excited as well as the performers and this just goes to show what a fantastic showman and entertainer he is too! Like we all know here already--CAN HE BE ANY MORE PERFECT? I think not!

Im right with you Annette, since I joined this forum after I stopped being a lurker I learned how to convert youtube videos into wmv so we all can see them, how to post it in megaupload, and now Im trying to learn to make my own ringtones!!!

Next step producing Avatars!!! wow Can anyone teach us that??? We could learn together.

CookieNookie these avis are great!! I also get the same feeling when he stops says hello or I love you or make some noise to the crowd!! In the videos from youtube I even know more or less when he is going to stop!!! right in the middle of some crescendo so he pumps the crowd even extra, unleashing everyone's inner rocker!!!

Wouldn't that be neat if David sent some type of shout out to us over here at the board? For instance, he could pull on his earlobe, ala Carol Burnett. But, of course, it would have to be a gesture that only we know about so we know for sure that it's for us!

I say he takes his right pointer finger and slowly drags it across his bottom lip?! David, if you're reading this... can you do that, PLEASE?! During one of your next concerts, send your fellow word nerds and cookies some cyber love.... especially for those of us that can't make it to your shows!

Anyway, went off topic, sorry. As for the animations. They aren't really hard to make, just really time consuming! You have to work with the videos frame by frame. Which is why I add my signature to them. I hate it when people take my work and claim it as their own... after I've spent so long making them.

If you ladies want to learn how to make them, just google it! There are SO many tutorials out there that are very helpful. I wish I could help, but I am terrible at explaining how I make my banners, avatars etc...

I was wondering if I could use one of your avis for a while (one of DC rocking with his guitar) until I learn how to do my own stuff. I will undoubtedly give you credit for it. About the tutorials, is there any you could recommend us? I often use tutorials and find some explain better than others or some have better graphics, any help is appreciated.

Annette Im thrilled you like the idea of learning together, we could PM (is that how you say it?) or chat about it. Regarding to the videos convertion, I think I will post the explanation on the Help Section subforum so that more people can know too and everybody else could start doing it.

P.S. The second time I enter into this tread I saw DC jamming with his guitar while listening to Collective Soul Precious Declaration, it was surreal!! I could picture him rocking and bettering that song tooo!

Have you seen the videos? There is no prompting needed. They're making plenty of noise on their own. There is no doubt in my mind about the enthusiasm these crowds seem to have for David.

Sorry, but I hate the insinuation that the crowd needs Cookie to motivate them to scream for him. Every single video we've gotten has been filled with deafening screams before he even starts waving his arms. They are fully enthusiastic for him without his prodding, and all of the firsthand reports seem to bear this out.

Everyone is screaming and having a great time embracing David - he hesitates near the end of Hello - and plays/flirts with the crowd and he tests the crowd to see which city is the loudest. this is just him playing with us - interaction.
