This is what happens:

My older brother's name is David and he's actually a fan of David Cook, so don't take this story the wrong way.
He was listening to my iPod yesterday afternoon and "Little Sparrow" came on, and my brother sang along, purposely hitting bad notes and was like "I sound just like him, don't I?" when he was done and I told him "No, the only thing you have in common with David Cook is your first name" and he said "And...I cook. Don't forget about that" Then I went: rolleyes.gif

Then a while later I was in the kitchen with my brother and DC came up again in our conversation and my brother, mockingly, goes "Oh, I'm David Cook and I won American Idol and now I'm able to afford a razor" and I said "A razor? Why does he need a razor?" and he goes "For that scruff of his, he needs to get rid of it" and I told him "What's wrong with scruff?! You have scruff!" and he told me "Yeah, well I'm not David Cook, I'm allowed to have it!" and I said "You don't like him, do you?" and that's when he says "No, he's a cool dude. I wanted him to win, I just like teasing you about him"

Two of my best friends are dating Davids. I always put their names in front of David so we know which one we're talking about. And I call DC "my David" so they know I'm talking about him!

I found out on Monday one of my new learners (for september) is called David Richard Cook..

Weird no?

Everytime I take the register I'll probably be thinking about DC next term! lol

That's really strange. blink.gif Nearly the same name and same initals. My baby brother has the same initials as DC, but none of their names are the same.

I haven't seen this guy though...He's coming to our college's 'workshop' day (Or as I like to call it 'Make lots of noise with instruments day') So will have to let you know if he's as cute as DC or not...

I'm thinking he won't be tongue.gif

LUCKY...,

Either way i call him, DC or David, it still feels a little strange to me. My cousin's name is David and his initials are DC 2. Trust me they're COMPLETELY different. Before i was into david cook these girls his age in his school were like " OMG, i LOVE David C" and stuff like that. I was grossed out since hes my cousin but then i found out it was the word nerd dc. hehe. But, im used to it. Im just glad his initials arent dRc, then that would be too creepy. lol

Every "David" I've met has always been a very nice, down-to-earth kinda guy. Never met a David I didn't like...so far.

My friend, David Roat, is in a band and everytime I think about David Cook I actually find myself thinking about David Roat... which is strange.
But I adore them both. They're wonderful men.
Then, my boyfriend has a friend whose name is Danny David Cook.
No joke! And my uncle's name is David....

I've also never met a David I didn't like...
My boyfriend (Andrew) is in a band with a kid named David... lol funny how that works out...
