my name is Kim and im 18 and from PA. David Cook is seriosuly the only Idol i have ever liked that actually won AI. hes amazing...but of course everyone already knows that.

Hi. My name is Cindi. I'm from the St. Louis metro area. I've been lurking for a while and usually stick to the AI forums. I decided it was about time to join so I could jump into some of these discussions. This is the first season I voted and it will probably be the last. I've watched AI since the beginning but never felt the desire to vote. I can't wait to see the Idols when they come to town on July 18th.

Welcome to both of you! I agree that David Cook is the most amazing and talented contestant ever on the show (have been watching since Season 1), and the first one that I consistently voted for every week, too.

Welcome to this great spot. It is filled with so much interesting news and opinions about David Cook. And I certainly agree that he has set a new standard for AI. In fact, it might be so high a standard that no one will be able to reach it in the future. Nothing against past winners, but with this season, the show finally gave us an authentic idol in every sense of the term.
