I like the idea - but first everybody needs to get through to DCs myspace management about maintaining the page. They haven't accepted new fans for over 2 weeks. They haven't posted any new comments for 2 weeks. If people try to add the page - they are asked to first identify David's last name - and Cook is not accepted.

It is going to be very frustrating for people to go to the page and then be told that they can't add it.

It's time for us to find someone to complain to.

I love the idea of being able to advert for here though, thanks for the codes!!

okay...so i tried adding links to this site in my profile (general interests section)....and got the message from photobucket "this image or video has been moved or deleted."

Hmmm well you could just save the picture, and upload it to your photobucket, then swap the code, or use a different photo...

I´ve been trying to send a friend request to him for about two weeks now and can´t because of the last name question.

They have changed the profile settings so that we can´t send the requests. I also tried to send message AND also tried to add a comment on his page.. but you can do those only if you´re a "friend"..

That sucks. I hope they change the settings soon.

If you write a 'note' I'll message it to him for you, if you want?

Maybe you could mention that your friends are trying to send him a request but can´t get through.. and would it be possible to change the settings so that we could do it.. maybe you can put it better in English lol.

Many of David's fans are trying to add this page so they can continue their support of our American Idol, however whenever they try to add him, it asks for his 'last name' and 'cook' doesn't work!

Obviously these fans are getting upset that they can't add their favourite Idol and support his career.

If you could take a look at this it would be greatly appreciated, and I'm sure David wouldn't want to turn away any of his fans!

Well there has been new posts, but they need to be approved...

Think there page has been hacked and the account settings changed to private..
Could be easily fixed!

Folks: I do not think David's management team is monitoring the Official Fan Myspace page currently - I am sure they are working on Post Idol Tour activity. Take a look at the RCA Page attached: http://www.rcarecords.com/featuredrelease....st=David%20Cook You will see a link for the Official David Cook Myspace Page and also for the Official YouTubepage. You may be able to add yourself to the YouTube page and then you would be able to post a comment. That particular page adds you immediately and once you make a comment, it is added very shortly afterward. As you will see from the comments in the YouTube page - the comments are up to date. Hope this helps.

The strange thing is I've seen "David Cook" online on My Space several times since 6/27, when the last comments were approved. I am really surprised no one is monitoring it, as this is a great opportunity for DC to pick up new fans while on tour ... and new blogs or vlogs would obviously be appreciated by everyone during the tour.

It just strikes me as odd that as soon as the tour starts the page is nelgected by whomever handles that for him.

I don't think the page was hacked - I think someone goofed in the settings.

I'm glad to see that some of you are trying to write notes to get things changed - I was going to suggest the same sort of campaign. I'm going to try to find some other addresses to send notes too. It is very bad to have a myspace page dormant while the tour goes on. People who fail to add the first time may not come back.

and InDreams, I totally agree...It is so important to keep 'ties' with the fans, if they don't some may get bored and go elsewhere! (I know that some of the other idols are really keeping in contact with their fans through blogs/vLogs or even just new pictures!)

folks: Even though I am all set up - I sent a note this morning as well- with the hopes that it will help resolve the issue for the new folks that want to join in on David's Official Myspace Site. I will let you know if I receive a response.
