The very first time I saw David I got chills. He is one of the best singers I have ever heard. My favorite songs that he sang are, Dream Big and Billie Jean. When he won I was so happy for him, that i started crying! I know he will so good in this entertainment industry. He inspires me so much!

I'm glad to say that when I saw David Cook sing "living on a prayer." I just loved him and from that point on I rooted for him the whole way through. I was following him from then on whatever he did. If was going to win American Idol or not! I wanted him to lose so he wouldn't be so famous. But I knew he had something good. So keep it going David!!!!! LOVE YOU!!!

It's so weird thinking back to that very first moment he was on AI auditioning. If I remember correctly (someone clarify if I am wrong or right) wasn't he the last to perform during the Omaha auditions? That's the image I have in my head. If he wasn't, then that's the last memory I have of watching the Omaha auditions. Anyways, I made sure to remember his name-he totally impressed me with his voice, but for a few weeks after all the auditions we over, I missed a bunch of shows. I don't even remember what I was doing on those Tuesday & Wednesday nights, but I wasn't following. It wasn't until the week after "Hello" (yeah I missed "Hello' live!!!) that I finally woke up to who David Cook was! From then on, I was an avid watcher. For the longest time I never called DC by his name...it was always "My Cutie". When is My Cutie coming on? There's My Cutie! My Cutie's next! --stuff like that. I don't know why. But I love re-watching that moment when Simon (? or Paula?) asked him why he thought he was the next American Idol. Who would have known all those months later he really would be the American Idol?!?! Such a great personal story he has!
