Is anyone else going to see the show in Toronto?
The only Canadian city on the tour.
I can`t believe I`am going!! The tickest just arrived via FedEx.
I live on the other coast but just happen to be visiting family in Toronto that week.
I am so stoked and excited. It`s all I can think about.
I don`t know if I will meet DC or not but I am just so happy to be even going.
I really didn`t think I was going to be able to see him at all.
I know it`s going to be an amazing show.

Thanks to all the wonderful info on this site and to all the fabulous DC fans sharing their experiences.
I feel I have an idea of what to expect when we get there, and if at all possible where and when is the best place to meet DC.

At this point the stars are not aligning for me.

I don't have tickets. Still keeping my eyes on eBay for last minute deals.
I have to work that day until 7pm and it's a 6 hour drive to TO for me (in Ottawa area).
My wedding anniversary is the day before, hubby is not thrilled with my obsession LOL.
And if that weren't already enough, the engine light on my car came on the other day!

UGH!

I still haven't given up hope yet. I refuse to give up hope.

I'm going to the Toronto show...bringing my two daughters with me 7 and 12 yrs.
Can't wait to see DC perform..he is totally going to bring the ACC down!!!!

Does anyone have any extra tickets to the Toronto show? I am thinking about going. I am going to the Rochester concert the next day and have to be back for it really early so I can meet David.

My Hubby is coming too along with his sister and our niece LOL!
I think he is going to be a bit out numbered though.
My mind will definately be on something else, oh he knows I love him.

It would be great to meet up but I won`t be arriving until closer to the show. We have two small children that require a babysitter.

dont get ripped off..ticketmaster still has great seats available..floors seats are still coming up if you search for 2 best available...row 14 center floors!

Is anyone familiar with the ACC floor seating chart enough to know exactly how many seat numbers are in any particular row? On the right side in particular?

I know, its crazy how you buy your tickets early, thinking you getting the best seats available then when you go to look just for the hell of it and you see better seats then what you got, you get kinda peeved at that.But I'm happy I get to go and be even happier if I get to meet DC.

I am coming to Toronto on Sunday for a family even on Friday 25th

I was only told about it on Wednesday and managed to get a flight out of here on Sunday. I knew I would be free on Saturday night so i thought I'd get a ticket for the show.
So I'll be going by myself.
How I'm gonna get to ACC I don't know I've been looking at maps and stuff but I'm sure I'll get there.

By the way I'm coming in from Glasgow Scotland and am sooo excited, because I never thought I'd ever see David Cook live.

me again... Spoke to the girl at the Fan Services for the ACC: While she doesn't know for sure, she figures that the buses will be coming by the York Street Entrance and head underground. She had no idea what time but since my friend has changed her flights, we're coming to the ACC around 11:00 or so to start lurking!

If there's anyone who wishes to get David something and isn't going, please feel free to send me a PM and we can discuss arrangements (delivery, etc).

I am SO meeting David and the rest of the gang!

The Fan Services person mentioned that it's up to the individual shows to set the rules for cameras, etc. She said to call them on Friday - they will know by then...

OK, that's it for now, getting pretty excited! Looks like 26degrees Celsius and SUN, so I'm going to bring some umbrellas just in case - can't remember if the York Street exit is near the Gardiner so it's not too sunny (the Rogers Centre is for sure!).

by the way, last tidbit: IF YOU'RE DRIVING, there's a Jays game on that afternoon at the Rogers Centre, so expect TRAFFIC!!!

question for those who have been to the ACC before (on the floor) I have 3 row 30 floor tickets...are those decent? Like, will I be able to see well? I'm quite short so I'm kinda nervous.

I actually know one other Word Nerd who is in Row 30! Floor seats are pretty good - it's such a BIG place but they're only using half the centre. There are usually pretty good 'jumbotrons' so don't worry about not seeing the stage - mind you, the centre part does jut out so you're technically about 20 rows from the stage (*lol*). I'm in the 18th row so I'll wave back at you!!!

The ACC is where the Toronto Maple Leafs skate and the Toronto Raptor play basketball so it's a pretty cool place!

Bring umbrella and lots of water - it's going to be 35 degree humidex and 60% chance of rain. *groan*

I looove the ACC I'm totally not used to being on the floor though, whenever I go to concerts there I'm always in the 100 sections. Oh mannnnn rain and a 35 degree humidex?! Thanks for the advice about the seats!

Same here...I'm gonna have to load up the SPF. I was at Canada's Wonderland a few weeks ago and I have SPF 50 on and still managed to get a mini sunburn.

mm I was going to go to the Toronto date, but I have a horse show that day!! My mom and I thought it would be better to go to Rochester the day after, anyways. it's about the same distance from where we live (ottawa area, also, cookie lovin! ) to toronto and to rochester. very excited!

Anyway, I've just collected (bought) a selection of the best Canadian music CDs, and DVDs: including: Doug and Bob McKenzie, 25th Anniversary edition (WITH BOTTLE OPENER INSIDE *LOL*), Bon Cop/Bad Cop for the DVDs, ANd for music: Blue Rodeo, Tragically Hip, Ill Scarlett (from Mississauga!), Stars, Best of Jeff Healey Band, and Michael Ciufo (young up and coming "Josh Groban/Michael Buble/Andrea Botcelli (--only better!)musician also from Mississauga) for the CDs.

I wanted to give the Idols a quick cross section of Canadian music (and couldn't resist adding the DVDs)! ANY OTHER BAND? I can afford one more CD....

I wanted to let you know I'll call the ACC tomorrow to check on cameras, etc, and post the information on the boards tomorrow.

A bit of a difficulty: My friend who I'm picking up from the airport has had to change her flight to later, so we won't be at the barricades until a bit later in the afternoon. We'll come and find you though! Can't wait to meet you all!

Guess who was on the radio today?? DAVID COOK via PHONE of course. Well, he said that he is REALLY excitied to come to TORONTO and totally can't wait. As well he said that the album is going to come out in mid November. He IS going to have a tour...he is going to have on in the Phillipens first and then he is going to be doing a US tour from what he said. Then David said something about how he will go wherever people demand him so that is great. As well the radio guy said something about how he is going to LOVE it here and want to come back and David was like "THATS WHAT I HEAR" It was a pretty sort interview but it was so great to hear him on the Radio.

Hey Everyone!

I'm heading to Toronto this morning, going to make a weekend out of it. I am so excited, I got maybe 2 hours sleep last night and I doubt I'll be sleeping tonight, holy butterflies lol.

I won't have access to the net while I'm there but hopefully I'll see some of you there.
