I know you don't remember me out of all the people you met on your journey home, but I couldn't stop crying when I saw your limo pull up! I was at the AT&T store. I had the big poster that said, "Please sign me David Cook". I honestly didn't even think I would get very close to you, the fact that you pointed me out out of everyone just made the experience so much better! You are such an inspiration and since I heard you on American Idol, I finally got the courage to come out of my shell and I am going to audition on August 8th. I think my favorite performance would have to be a tie between Day Tripper and Always Be My Baby. I have over 200 pictures of myself and you signing my poster from that day. My dad took me to work with him and I skipped school just to come see you! Not such a smart idea, but I got all the work caught up, I promise! I will always be your number one fan and I will never forget Friday, May 9, 2008.
