It has been years since I paid attention to music. I have just strung for many years getting caught up into a few good songs and artists that capture the masses. I remember what it was like to get caught up in the lyrics and emotions of a song...and those songs have stayed with me. They are a powerful memory trigger of where I was in my life at the time. But life takes over, and so does time...and you give up the passion for the love of a song because you have grown up... and grown older.
However, because of you, many of us have come back to searching for that emotional high that music brings to our soul. Your songs from Analog Heart have brought me back, and yes it began with your beautiful voice and interpretations during AI. However, once one is touched by the songs in AH it is difficult to go back and listen to you sing the AI music.
Every song in that Cd is a gift for us all. It is funny but a few months ago, if someone would have told me I would own a brand new i pod(gift from my husband) and that I would be listening to rock again, and from a beautiful 25 year old, I would've chuckled...Yes, there was a reason that you ended up on that show. Thank you. We love you.
