Hey Mod's - you guys might already know about this - but I'm getting this message when displaying new posts or jumping to the last post in a thread:
Warning: mb_strstr() [function.mb-strstr]: Empty haystack in /mnt/Target01/328249/www.david-cook.org/web/content/sources/classes/class_session.php on line 437

I submitted a trouble report to Travis and the mods - so hopefully this issue will be resolved soon. Looks like when you submit a reply - you do get an error message but when you go back to check - the reply does get accepted.
Anyway, I am sure Travis will be invesigating the issue and I am sure that we will be up and running as soon as possible.

I am currently outside, using a public computer. When I saw that error message, I kinda gotten myself in panic mode, thinking that the problem lies in the computer.
Upon seeing this thread, I now understand that I am not alone here. I can only pray that Travis rectifies this problem as soon as possible.

Looks like something happened with the coding? Even the reply page looks all weird.
And then there's the warning about the empty haystack...

Jul 11 2008, 07:31 AM
ok, you should have seen the roundabout way I had to take to log in. Unfortunately, it is a coding problem. It could be something travis can fix, but he's the only one with access to the server to fix it. OR...it could be something on the host server's side in which case, travis can't fix it, but can put in a help ticket to have the server admins check it out. I know it's frustrating, but..we will run into problems once in a while...and travis does have other things going on instead of sitting here 24/7, so please...DON'T FREAK AND BE PATIENT.
that is all....thank you

If it's there too, sounds like it may be a server problem since, and I'm guessing here, the same server hosts both sites.

I am having a ^%&%$%# of a time getting to see the "new posts" thread. I can get in the various threads but I was unable to access this site this morning. Errors keep showing up. Is it my crappy Net connection or is anyone else having issues? For once, I'm not having trouble getting to other sites.

ok...i am talking about the big picture on this site of huge David reaching out with his hand. Though, i often imagine/wish

that he's is reaching out to hold me

...i have to say that i kinda of have to look around

each time i log on or am refreshing this site...well only because i have been spending too much time on this site and guilt is kinda catching up

just because... u see...i kinda of tell people/family/husband/kids that i'm working on something important on the laptop (cos i'm always lugging it around with me..) but it doesn't help that this site has this huge picture of David each time i'm on the site... so i have to ever switch so quickly to a "standby" site just in case you know?...that i'm seem to be like a psycho pathetic David Cook crazed fan which i'm obviously one...*sighs*

I'm getting the same error messages as the rest of you. As was stated above, if it is indeed a "host" issue then it's something Travis can't fix and he will have to report it to the proper tech people. mj's blog as most of you know goes down at times and the host is Word Press and so she has to report her site problems to them.

if you're saying his site is getting the same messages...
then it most likely is a server issue...travis can't fix it...and we just have to suck it up and
be patient til the server admins can fix it.

The only other thing I can think of, is, a problem with the php coding. But, I wouldn't expect all 3 sites to go at the same time, unless it has to do with the server..
