Full Version: The pirate joke pops up on Blind Date
I'm not sure if anyone watches the Blind Date re-runs on the Fox Reality network, but anyone who did today will recognize a particular joke our dear David has made famous being told by one of the daters on the show that aired today at 3:00 PM (Central). The pair was Matt (nerd) and April (talent coordinator in the adult film industry). Safe to say, the date was a bust, but the ever famous pirate joke was told by Matt over a round of ice cream.

That's awesome! I actually told my brother that joke and he looked at me weird and then laughed.
No offense, but it sounded better when it's David who's crackin' it. Anybody else doing that only serves to make this lame joke sound even lamer.
I don't think anyone but DAVID can do justice to that joke. I think Syesha tried a version of it (during that Idols Extra footage the night DC won) and she came off as weird and awkward. I guess you have to believe that the joke is funny to really pull it off. Oh well....it just shows that our cookie is quite famous indeed that even his joke gets more airtime albeit in a totally unexpected show. Thanks TC (Tina Catherine?)...
LOL! That makes me want to go back and watch some of those clipse of David telling that joke again...and remember how he said "Barrrr-tender" and did his arm in that motion when he was interviewing with Ryan? CLASSIC!! I need to go back and watch that, too. DC is the best!! Thanks, T.C.
