What Bums Me Out About This Board

Seems like some people are scouring these boards just waiting to pounce on something that can be construed as a ‘negative’ comment, and then attacking the person who made it.

Examples
Someone remarks that the Skecher shoes don’t look like David’s usual style – this gets construed as an accusation that David is a sell-out.

The thread turns into a discussion on David’s present/future fanbase – this is viewed as an attack on the Granny and Cougar fans.

Some people speculate on David’s religion /. Whether he is/was a smoker – the response is ‘Oh no, let’s shut down this thread before somebody else sees this and use it against David!!!!’

Someone makes a remark about the media coverage about David getting 'crushed' – she gets lambasted for spreading doom and gloom.

Come on people, it’s called an opinion (as Simon used to say ad nauseam). If you don’t agree, say why. But don’t attack the person who made the comment personally. And stop worrying about what non-David fans would think if they read the post – if they don’t already like him, nothing anyone says will change that! Personally I would like this board to be a safe space where everybody who loves David can say or speculate on whatever they want ….

Toml - A Challenge!

Okay people, what is going on here????

David got 56 million votes on Idols. Yet TOML has not yet gone platinum!! That it less than 1 copy sold per 56 votes !!!! So where are all you people now? I challenge you to buy one copy of TOML for every vote you gave to David (okay, I know it will work out to a lot for some people, but don't you think it's worth it??)
