..the boy is unbelievably beautiful and has the face of an Angel.. oh my GORGEOUS

..but I ain't ('scuse the slang:) gonna lie--- when I saw him on TMZ the other day.. well I FIRST almost didn't even RECOGNIZE him!!!?!!!! ..and then when I *DID* ... well my mouth dropped open, and I sat there watching the segment catchin' flies in it!!! ..and THEN ...

..came the...

..who else here might have reacted like that??!!!! ..who else here cannot BELIEVE how strange that strange mustache with it's strange-shaped self looked on our Cookie???!?!?!?!?!?!!?

..(..and just as a little added thing-- is it just me, or did it look very much like our Cookie may have started losing his hair..???!?!!!! ..I mean, I know he has always had very FINE hair.. hey, I RELATE!!! ..some of you may recall the 'FINE-HAIRED PEOPLE---UNITE!!!" thread, LOL
..but this seems very different.. like he actually is... well.. *losing* is hair..? ) ...

..and not that ANY of this matters-- I am so enamored with Mr. David Cook.. the PERSON, David Cook.. and I always will be... and this man will be beautiful .. inside and out.. for his entire life..

..it's just.. well that video of him just left me wantin' to talk about it with others!!!!!!

Backlash From Not Appearing On Ai Finale..?

..hey again everyone

..I'm so sorry if this has already been discussed here, I had to be out of town when the finale went on and for several days after.. so am just now kinda catching up with what happened.. but have read so many different things online in so many different places... about 'people' talking about our David in a not-so-good way -- pretty much blasting him for not being at the finale.. saying things to the effect of "he must think he's too damn GOOD for American Idol"... "he thinks he's above it all" .."shame on him" ..and "I won't be buying any of his records anymore or going to any concerts..he clearly has an ego" ...

..OH. MY. GOSH.

..being out of town *I* didn't even realize he wasn't on it, until I came home.. and of course once I learned it, I knew IMMEDIATELY there was a damn good reason... and I HOPED that all the people out there were smart enough to know that too.. but.... I had a sick little feeling in me that many WOULDN'T

..and my fears were confirmed when I got online and started reading and reading.. I truly felt sick to my stomach to see this ..even once some of the people finally learned of why he wasn't there, they STILL talked badly of him-- saying he could've/should've had the event rescheduled.. that they didn't care WHAT the reason was, he owes EVERYTHING to Idol and he should have been there.. that he should have at the very LEAST done something via sattelite from his event.. he's got an ego... etc etc.. I just couldn't believe it

...AND .. it even makes me wonder and fear if his album and concert sales really WILL go way down because of all of this ..TERRIBLE

..so anyway, it's been bothering me and I wanted to 'talk' with y'all about it... again, I'm sorry if this has already been discussed, me being gone I just plain missed it all.. please.. any and all comments, thoughts etc etc would be greatly appreciated..

David Not On Latest "idol: Where Are They Now"?!

..have y'all seen the new "Idol: Where Are They Now"...? ..I taped it the other day, saw it was a brand new one, knew David was on the original one before-- never dreamed he would be completely omitted from it.. imagine my surprise, when I went to watch it last night, so excited about seein' our boy... and.. he was totally and COMPLETELY..

LEFT OUT!!!!?!!!!!!

..not even so much as a mention of his name???!!!!


..I don't know, maybe it's just some of my leftover confusion and upsetedness (not a real word, LOL) over so many great songs from DCTR being ignored and not released as singles... ummmmmmm.. but I just find it hard to believe that he is completely, blatantly left out of a show that should absolutely and just automatically include and even *celebrate* him...

"heroes" Used Again ! :)

..I remember last week or so there were a couple posts on here about "Heroes" being used in a montage of Bode Miller at the end of a night of Olympics--

..I was trying to find those to post on but couldn't find 'em!!! (..it's LATE, LOL, past my bedtime..

..but anyway, tonight I was watching the Saturday, February 27th 12 noon- 5pm Olympics and Holy CRAAAPP, outta NOWHERE, there was Cookie's HEROES again!!!!!! ..it was 2 hours 27 minutes into the 5 hours-- they cut away for commercial and all of a sudden you hear that great "Heroes" beginning-- and it's an NBC commercial- said "NBC Sports Championship Season".. and they were showing clips and athletes from all these major upcoming events from May through July including The Kentucky Derby, The Preakness Stakes, the Stanley Cup Final, the U.S. Open, and Wimbledon.. among others.. and there is Cookie's BEAUTIFUL VOICE singing all throughout it!!!!!!!

..holy CRAPPPP he is *everywhere*, as he sooooooo deserves to be...
