OT but Robyn Needs Prayers

My second cousin, Robyn, turned seven in April. She was diagnosed with Brain Stem Glioma in January. Being the brave little thing she is, the day after her diagnosis she went skipping out of the hospital to attend a 'do for the MS Society in Belfast as she had raised the most money as a single person in name of her Nanny Nancy. She went through both chemotherapy and radiotherapy, but only in an attempt to get her an extra 6 months if she was lucky. Nobody knows anything about Brain Stem Glioma apart from the fact it grows really quick and invades the brain stem. It can't be removed. It can't be cured.

Robyn was taken into hospital last night. She was on oxygen all night, and isn't allowed to eat or drink. She's taking spazm like things along the left side of her body. It's not sounding good for her right now.

Please pray for Robyn. This whole thing is killing the family. I just lost my aunt to a 12 year battle with cancer, another aunt is in remission, and little Robyn is fighting a losing battle. All I ask is that you fight a little of it for her by saying a prayer for her.

Hey from Northern Ireland!

Hey y'all!

Well, I've been watching Idol religiously since the Anomaly that was Clay Aiken losing the title of American Idol 2003. I've liked many along the way, but since David's first audition 2 weeks ago I've been right behind him!

I live in Northern Ireland, am 17 and live with a "life-limiting condition" called Spinal Muscular Atrophy. I also have bi-latteral hearing loss, which means the organs in my ear didn't develop, so I'm completely deaf, and David's voice is one of the easier ones to hear. When I'm online you usually find me at the Clayboard, or Clay's fan club.
