Does M-Audio need a driver?
M-Audio audio interfaces are class-compliant on Mac, meaning no additional drivers need to be installed. If you’re a PC user however, you must download and install the driver for your version of Windows.
How do I install M-Audio drivers?
Download and install the drivers (PC only)
- Go to the M-Audio driver download page, locate your AIR 192 product, then download the latest driver available for your version of Windows.
- Navigate to your Downloads folder, double-click the installer .exe then follow the on-screen instructions.
Does M-Audio come with software?
You will receive serial numbers and download links to any software included with your M-Audio product upon registration of the product to your M-Audio account.
Does M-Audio have ASIO driver?

Why is my M audio interface not working?
Try unplugging/re-plugging, different ports on the computer, and different cables to see if it appears. Once your device shows up in Device Manager, check that it also appears in Sound Settings. If not, you probably need to reinstall (or just install) the latest driver (see Driver Reinstall below).

Great build quality, awesome audio quality, loud and tight bass…. very clear and flat response, not bassy at all. Not perfect on midrange frequencies but very good enough. I have no doubts that these are the best active monitors in the $150-250 range in the hole world.
