How effective is Esdm?
It has been found to be effective for children with a wide range of learning styles and abilities. ESDM can help children make progress in their social skills, language skills, and cognitive skills. Children who have significant learning challenges can benefit just as much as those without learning challenges.

Although there is a large amount of research supporting the use of ESDM as an effective evidence-based treatment, the findings lack empirical validity (i.e., the experimental rigor of the available research is weak).
How long is an ESDM session?
The strategies of ESDM can be implemented anywhere, but generally, sessions take place in your home or in our clinic. This is dependent on your preferences and on your proximity to our clinic. How long does it take? Typically, each session lasts 2 hours and we recommend between 10 and 20 hours per week.

TRAINING AND CERTIFiCATION IN THE ESDM Complete the 3 day Advanced Training Workshop. Submit assessments, goals and objectives, teaching steps and videos to a certified ESDM Trainer. Once the therapist has submitted the required number of videos and passed the fidelity scores, then they can be certified in the model.
