Most mushroom kits will store for 2-3 months if necessary. To store your kit, keep it in the fridge. This puts the mycelium into hibernation and will prevent it escaping the box early. Don’t keep it somewhere it could exceed 30 degrees Celsius.
Are mushroom grow kits one time use?

Just allow the block to rest for 2-3 weeks and begin the process anew. You should get another few harvests out of the grow kit until it begins to crumble, at which time you can compost it or put it in your garden. It may even surprise you with a final harvest!
