Can you take dogs to Dan Yr Ogof? Family friendly dogs are welcome at the showcaves but not all parts of the site are dog friendly and dogs must be always kept on a short lead whilst in the caves. One thing to note is that if you intend to visit the Shire Horse area of the site then dogs are not allowed.

The walk is about 4 miles and takes about 3 hours. The fourth waterfall , Sgwd yr Eira , steepest and by far the most strenuous. but is is beautiful- albeit crowded . You don’t need walking boots for the trail but are a must for the step steps to the waterfalls .
