We later found out Ikea discontinued their Klippan 4-seater all together, without even a head’s up, so we teamed up with Comfort Works to outfit our couch with a new slipcover. First, we went with a Kino slipcover.

Pull the cover down all the way so that the edges are in line with the base of the sofa. Ensure the hook and loop tape fasteners along the edges of the cover are face-down.

Is ektorp being discontinued 2020?
Like I said before, the Ektorp is not completely discontinued (yet). The gentleman at IKEA didn’t make it sound like it was going to be completely gone for good but you can only get the Ektorp in the Lofallet Beige color (and likely only online). The stores no longer carry the Ektorp sofa.
