Is Oxford Brookes accommodation first come first serve?
We don’t allocate on a first-come, first-served basis but will allocate to all students who have applied by the deadline and met the conditions of their offer. However, if you miss the deadline to apply, you are welcome to contact us after the allocation date to ask about vacancies.
Where do Oxford Brookes students live?
Students usually stay in halls for their first year and then move into private accommodation. Some universities offer halls for your whole degree. Halls of residence are owned and managed by the university. They are divided up into flats, usually of about 6 rooms.

The majority of our halls are self-catered, we have only one catered hall at Wheatley. All our halls and campuses are connected by our Brookes bus services. You are entitled to a free bus pass if you live in halls. There is a range of accommodation comprising of single study-bedrooms, many with en-suite bathroom.
